Cipherverse

The Caesar cipher is a simple substitution cipher where each letter in the plaintext is shifted a certain number of places down or up the alphabet. For example, with a left shift of 3, D would be replaced by A, E would become B, and so on. It is one of the earliest known and simplest ciphers.
